The Honda Kseries engine is widely regarded as one of the most advanced and well designed 4-cylinder production car engine's to ever exist. So it was a no brainer when I was looking for a more powerful engine for my AE86 driftcar when I first made this setup around ten year's ago. The snappy naturally aspirated spirit is still retained meaning the Corolla still feels like a Corolla, just with a considerable increase in torque and horsepower output.

These engine mounts are designed to mount the engine on a 9° lean, which makes the cam cover sit level and is both visually appealing and also gives more space on the exhaust side for headers/turbo setup (if you so choose) we also supply a RWD stainless steel oilpan to suit this conversion and 6speed transmission swap.

These engine mounts use Super pro polyurethane bushings so they are firm but still have some give in them for engine movement.

No modifications are required to your OEM AE86/AE71 crossmember and no crossmember spacers are required however if you use our transmission setup you will need to hammer the very top of your transmission tunnel OR you can add crossmember spacers to avoid this, these will also help with bonnet clearance as these engines are TALL, you will also need to cut a new shifter hole (or use a shifter forward relocation kit) This mount kit comes with brand new mounting hardware.

These mounts are not always in stock so please allow approximately 4weeks for us to fabricate these, if you select the powder coating option this will also add approximately 2-3 weeks to the leadtime.
