Our JZ (both 1jz & 2jz) header tanks have been extremely popular ever since we started offering this service. There are two options to begin with; the first being that we supply a second hand refurbished waterneck OR the second option is that you send in your existing waterneck from your engine, we then blast it back to brand new finish, cut and weld in a tank with a high fill point as well as remove the OEM coolant port barbs and tap those to 1/8NPT so you can screw in -an hose adapters, and then send the completed unit back to you.

The benefit of this modification is that your coolant fill point is now raised much higher than the rest of the water system and will allow air to self bleed out of the radiator overflow port as air will always find the highest point, reducing the chance of air pockets being trapped in the system which can cause hot-spots and lead to over heating.

We can also weld additional sensor bungs onto the tank body itself as well as the turbo water feed and also various different outlet styles. If you require the outlet fitting that is welded to the tank to be in a specific direction and/or height other than as per stock, then please contact us after ordering so we can arrange this. We will require detailed instructions as to exactly where and in what angle you need your outlet if you want it in a custom location so please be prepared with specifics.

Turnaround time is usually 1-2 weeks after we receive your order/waterneck.

If you plan to retain your filler neck on your radiator please be aware that you must run two radiator caps of the same pressure rating and run both overflow barbs to your overflow tank. Radiator cap not included.
